Thepresoticsinaquaticenvironments,buttheexistingFentonsystemislimitedduetothepotentialforsecondarypollution,andthenarrowpHrange(~3–5).Inthisstudy,wereportthatthebottlenecksforhigh-strengthtetracycline(TC)wastewatertreatmentunderneutralconditionscanbetackledwellbyaclassofmixed-valenceW/Mocontainingoxides(WMoO-x)hemorphologiesofthecatalystsgoingfromultrathinnanowires(UTNWs)towire-tanglednanoballs(WTNBs).Asaproofofconcept,themostefficientcatalystinthebatchsamples,WMoO-1ultrathinnanowires,wasemployedasamodelmaterialforTCdegradation,inwhichthecoordinativelyunsaturatedmetalatomswithox,%ofTCwasdegradedin60minfortheinitialTCconcentrationof400μ,LC-MSanalysisconfirmedthattheTCcouldbedegradedtonontoxicby-productswithoutbenzenerings,lecatalystmorphologyandreaffirmtheversatilityofdopingintuningcatalystactivity,milyanditsapplicationinthefieldofwatertreatment.。
